Hypothesis: I think that the marble will sink fast in the [liquid]

Materials

-Marble

-Liquids (Vegetable oil, Gatorade, Water, Dish Soap)

-Stopwatch

-Graduated Cylinder

Thin Materals Procedure

1.) Get Materials

2.) Pour 100mL of the first liquid (vegetable oil) into the graduated cylinder

3.) You or your partner will now ready the stopwatch so you can time how long it takes to sink

4.) Someone who isn't using the stopwatch will drop the marble into the cylinder.

5.) When the marble gets to the bottom, stop the stopwatch.

7.) Record the final time

8.) Repeat steps 2-7 for the other liquids.

Thick Materials Procedure

1.) Get Materials

5.) Record every 10mL traveled by pressing the lap button
